It's no secret that I like to follow crafty little blogs. Often that's where I get my inspiration and "how-to" for most of my creative projects. I have one complaint....why would you post how-tos or ideas of Mother's Day gifts just four days before the fact. If I'm going to make something from a blog. I need one day to get the idea. One or two days to collect all the materials. Then at a minimum two days to make it....and that's if I don't mess one up and have to start all over. Never mind the need for shipping time.
I think there should be some unwritten rule that says if you are going to post ideas for holidays, it should be done a minimum of one month in advance. Then again....maybe that's just the type-A, planner in me. I will admit, I have my mom's birthday gift purchased (it's in August) and I have my nieces Christmas gift purchased. Yes, possibly a bit premature.
