I can still vividly remember when we had this song sung at our wedding 9 years ago today.  It was just after we had said "I Do."  Between all my tears of joy I whispered in your ear, "I think this means we're married now."  You laughed and squeezed my hand.  I know you really wanted to give me a kiss, but that would have ruined the you-may-now-kiss-the-bride-moment that was about to come.  


In the past 9 years we have had troubled and good times.  Times that rose and fell.  But we took them all together whether we were together or a million miles apart (okay, Iraq is only 7,541 miles away).  Through it all, this one thing has never changed.  And as cliché as it might sound, "When I said I do, I meant that I will 'til the end of all time.  Be faithful and true, devoted to you .  That's what I had in mind when I said I do.  Truer than true, you know that I'll always be there for you.  That's what I had in mind, that's what I had in mind, when I said 'I do.'"
