My kids made me smile this morning.  I mean really smile.  I could feel their smiles and their joy.  This for me is the greatest part of homeschooling.

After we read "Moses and the Burning Bush: A Story of Faith and Obeying God" we were answering some reading comprehension questions.  The question I asked was this, "God appeared to Moses in a burning bush.  How do you see God in your mind?"  Evan and Merit both immediately closed their eyes as tight as they possibly could while their faces lit up and smiles took over from ear to ear.  They were instantly so happy and full of joy.  Taking turns, with slow, steady speech they each described what they imagine God to look like.  They both had slightly differing opinions, which did not end in an argument over who was correct.  They just smiled with their eyes closed.  It was so peaceful and so contagious.

I pray their love for the Lord only grows deeper and fuller.  And that their joy will remain so very contagious.
