So I have the day off. I'm so excited. Chris took the day off from his real-life-bring-home-the-bacon-job so I could have the day off from my real-life-stay-at-home-homeschooling-mom-job. This is the first time I can remember having a day off during the week. It's bliss. I woke up to Thank You cards from the kids for Teacher Appreciation Week and homemade waffles from Chris. Since then, I've been lazily surfing the internet, checking email, and reading my book The 19th Wife (which I am really enjoying). Right now, I'm getting ready to leave to go shopping, maybe get a pedicure, and just enjoy my day. It's beautiful outside and I can't wait to feel the sun shine down through the car window and maybe even roll the window down (since I won't have little ones in the back yelling "too windy"). My plan is to end the day with a Girls Night Out. Where we are going, I don't know and honestly don't care. I'm just enjoying MY DAY OFF!!!!
