I found this chart in a Parents magazine the other day and wanted to pass the info along.
Disease Incubation Contagious Period
Bronchitis 4-6 days onset of cough - 7 days
Colds 1-5 days onset runny nose - fever gone
Croup 2-7 days onset cough - fever gone
5th Disease 4-14 days 7 days
Pinkeye 1-3 days onset - 24 hrs after meds
Rotavirus 1-3 days 7 days after diarrhea starts
Sore Throat 2-5 days onset - fever gone
Strep 2-5 days 24 hrs after meds or 3 wks
Whooping Cough 7-14 days 5 days after meds
Vomiting 2-5 days until gone
